World Cup 2010 Crazy?

Everyone is crazy about World Cup. Of course they are. It happens every four years with this year's at South Africa. It will soon come to an end at 11th July 2010. Thank goodness.

I am not a soccer fan. Never was and never will be. Perhaps it is because I was being brought up differently. I think my brother also doesn't really get involved in soccer that much. Amazingly, my dad is a soccer fan. Hmmmm. Something wrong with the genes.

So what about the world cup? Everything! Even my favorite donuts shop has been crazied by the world cup and offer soccer ball donuts!



But the worst I have seen so far? Here.

What the hell is that? Making decisions using the world cup results? Granted that I think mild betting on soccer results is ok or even using the Octopus Paul as a predictor is more of a joke, but this? This is serious business. It means that they will not have a baby till after 4 years since Germany thrashed Argentina by 4-0! I don't know how old the couple are but what I do know is that the later the woman gives birth, the higher the risk of complications. They should not be so childish as to treat this matter so lightly.

Reflecting on this....I wonder if I have been so crazy about any sports....nah...
