I thought I will be quite familiar with the interiors of the ship already since I have been reading countless reviews and blog posts by many passengers including the most recent trip by OMY bloggers. But it did not prepare me for the real thing.

It is a blast to just walk around and see the fantastic decor of the ship. Plus, it is so awfully clean! Mind you, I see ships everyday as part of my work and I have gone on countless of them, most of them bigger than this. But being inside a cruise ship, outside of the working environments restricted to normal passengers is just another experience. Many of my colleagues exclaimed, "Huh? You going on a cruise? You don't have enough of the sea and ships we see everyday?" Well, after finishing the cruise, my answer to them is a firm. "NEVER ENOUGH." And I will be more than happy to be going on another cruise trip in the near future.
And then, we went back up to Deck 10 to walk the entire length of the ship.
Looking from one side you can see Keppel Reflections and the Keppel Island.

And on the other side, yet another cruise ship that I have not even heard of, seaboard quest.

We were quite anxious about our luggage and it was also time for Jayden's milk. Not knowing where the best place it is to feed him, we went down again to our stateroom to feed him.
Unfortunately, after feeding him, he vomited out most of his milk. A bad sign that his cough is worsening. Notice that the sheets are on the corner and he has a new change of clothes? Yeah. He vomited on both the bed and on the carpet. We called for housekeeping and it took some 15 mins for them to come and clean it up for us. The sheets wasn't cleared up though until later at night when the stateroom attendant changed it. Not very good in this aspect.
And Oh, the shore excursions desk. Do remember to book your shore excursions BEFORE you board the cruise. Although it looks empty now, it was quite a queue just a few hours later. I can't see why you will not want to book your shore excursions online earlier.
A cruise compass is also displayed at all lift lobbies and a copy is also placed in your room. It is a very useful piece of information that tells you what activities are going on in the ship and where it is held.
A nice touch that Royal Caribbean does for those guest celebrating special occasions is this. A nice big poster on your door saying "Its your birthday!" Simple to do and it scores points!
It was 1615hrs and time for the safety drill which is compulsory. We went down to deck 4 and our mustering point is 11.
The staff prompty directed us to the correct mustering station. A few minutes later, the mustering point leader came to us and shifted us just right next to the exit. A privilege for those with baby strollers or on wheelchairs. This is done so that we are amongst the first to exit when the drill is finished. The safety exercise is actually a very very quick and short demo of wearing the life jacket, ala crew cabin on flights showing all passengers how to don on their life jacket before the plane takes off. The waiting time is mostly on getting all 2000 people on board the ship here.
1700hrs - Legend of the Seas depart Singapore for our cruise vacation! It was right on target. And we went back up to Deck 10 to view the departure.
